🌟 Sample Ideal Answer:

Oxygen is vital because it directly supports respiration (breathing) for almost all living organisms and is necessary for combustion, which provides energy through burning fuels.

Nitrogen is just as important because it acts as a "diluent." Since it makes up about 78% of the air, it helps slow down combustion. Without it, fires would burn too fiercely and out of control! It also plays a key role in the nitrogen cycle, which helps plants grow and feeds the entire planet.
